Variables are the best way to create unique canned responses for each customer, without spending hours customizing every single detail.
Here’s how to quickly create Variables with SwiftReply:
There are two types of variables:
- Custom Variables
- Date & Time Variables
– Click “Insert Variables” => ” Custom Variables” => SwiftReply create quickly ready variables format: {{ variable 1 , variable 2, variable 3 , …}}
- You can create an unlimited list of variables.
- You can customize your variables with colors and all available rich formats.
Now start using your canned response anywhere you want.
- Click the extension icon and choose your workspace.
- Using Auto-Completion: Write the shortcut “cv” then click the keyboard shortcut you used on general settings (In my case @)
- Using List of Templates: Click the keyboard shortcut you used on general settings (In my case $)
- Click “Custom Variables” and start answering which variable you want:

- After you finsih, SwiftReply will replace all template content with the variables you picked.
